Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When will CPK begin offering services to kids and families?
A: We hope to be able to provide activities and services as soon as possible.  Seeking funding is our number one priority right now.  The activities and services for kids will be based upon the funding we are able to collect.  We will begin offering limited services very shortly.  To check out some of the services that we are able to offer check out the current activities section.

Q:  How is CPK funded?
A:  CPK is funded through private donations, fundraising activities, and federal and local government grants.

Q:  How can I donate?
A:  We have set up several ways to donate to CPK.  You may follow the link on the donations page to make a contribution on-line, send a contribution by mail to the address listed, or attend one of our fundraising events.

Q:  How can I get involved?
A:  We are accepting volunteer applications by mail.  You can download an application from the volunteers section of this site.  We appreciate all the help we can get.  If you are musically, artistically, academically, or athletically inclined, we can find a place for you.  You may also volunteer to help with our fundraising activities or with activity logistics.

Q:  My child is interested in an activity or service.  Does he need to sign up?
A:  Yes.  We have a participation form that must be filled out and signed by the child and a parent/guardian.  Please indicate on the form what activities are of interest.

Q:  When will CPK begin offering scholarships and grants?
A:  Again, we hope to award scholarships and grants shortly.  The awards too, are based on the funding we are able to collect.  We will announce when the application cycle will begin when funding is sufficient to support the awards.
